Westwood – The B&B with a view

Run by the owners, married couple Judith and Peter, Westwood opened in 2017 after being converted from a family home into a very comfortable B&B with quality accommodation. Taking great pleasure in sharing their magnificent view, their aim has always been to offer a relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist hubs, while still offering a convenient base for outings to all sorts of attractions and the magical scenery of the beautiful Western Lake District and Coast.

Local Area

Delightful lakes and fells as well as coastal towns and villages, not forgetting Wordworth’s Birth Place in Cockermouth and popular Keswick – all within easy reaching distance of Westwood – The B&B with a view.

How To Find Us

Take the A66 on the Cockermouth roundabout towards Workington, and ca. 1-2 miles after Cockermouth, there is a junction signed Great Broughton. Take the junction to Great Broughton and follow the road over Broughton Bridge, round the corner to the left and then up Harris Brow – almost to the top. Before you reach the top of the hill and the T-junction to Little Broughton, there is a slightly hidden entrance on the right with two large stone pillar gateposts. Turn into this drive and Westwood is the second drive on the right. It is marked by the sandstone pillar with “WESTWOOD”. Up the drive you will find your free car park and Westwood.
