We’re Missing You

The Government has told all of us to stay alert and to continue to reduce our day-to-day contact with other people, in order to control the virus and to help save lives.

As guidelines now allow you to take your daily exercise away from your home, even travel to a destination for the day, we’d like to thank those who have visited in the past couple of weeks for staying safe and maintain social distancing. Currently the majority of our businesses remain closed and no overnight stays are allowed but some car parks, toilets and takeaways are open and from this week, a number of historic houses will be opening their gardens for you to enjoy.

As we look to the coming weeks and months when life begins to return to a new normal, our businesses are looking forward to welcoming you back are already busy working behind the scenes to reopen safely when the guidelines allow. Many are now taking bookings from 4th July onwards for short breaks and holidays. Let us inspire you and help you plan your perfect getaway by showing what this most magical region has to offer. Allow us to guide you to new experiences, show you new areas to visit, help you find your space and make new memories that will last a lifetime.

The Western Lake District & Coast:

A great place to visit, live and work

Nestled snugly between some of England’s best-loved landscapes and the beauty of more than 100 miles of coastline hugging the Irish Sea, the Western Lake District & Coast offers visitors and residents the perfect blend of rugged landscapes, just a short distance from plenty of fresh sea air.

Further off the beaten track than some perhaps better-known places in Cumbria’s Lake District National Park, taking the time to discover this hidden gem is well-worth that little bit of extra effort.

Everything you would associate with The Lake District is here, from stunning countryside offering relaxation and adventure, to bustling towns and villages, where the order of the day is tradition, industry, heritage and innovation.
