The coast is a blend of dramatic cliffs and wide sandy beaches and is scattered with cute villages including St. Bees, Ravenglass, Seascale and Millom.

Inland, explore Cockermouth’s independent shops and Jennings Brewery. Or Keswick with it’s idyllic location with Skiddaw as a backdrop and the shores of Derwent Water just a short walk.

With huge vistas of wonderfully quiet and wild beaches and endearing seaside villages like St. Bees – known for its sweeping shoreline and starting point for the famous Coast to Coast Walk. Discover Roman remains at Ravenglass and board the steam train to Eskdale. Further inland, visit Muncaster Castle, a historic beauty, over 700 years old and surrounded by luscious gardens.
