We are very pleased to say that from Saturday 26 April, Tullie is all the way open. Our brand-new entrance welcome space, Carlisle Gallery, shop and studio space will be ready for you to come and experience. We can’t wait. This has been a long time coming, so we’re making quite the fuss. Join us on the Saturday for: Throughout the day Print/badge making with Linden Print Studio Wild Carlisle-inspired crafts – antler headbands Cardboard Carlisle – make a miniature border city out of cardboard Tullie Mouse’s Top Ten Trail Collaborative artwork with SOMO Happening at specific times Tullie Mouse appearances – who knows when and where he might turn up? Carlisle Gallery tours Winifred Nicholson Exhibition Tour – 11am Performance from BlueJam’s Street Beats live band There will also be some extra special giveaways for the first people through the door on Saturday morning. For the first 25 people admitted to the museum, there will be a a goody bag containing a Café Tullie voucher, Tullie shop voucher and some other little treats. The first 25 people in Café Tullie will get themselves a complimentary Custard Cream traybake. The museum opens at 10am. Café Tullie opens 9.30am. All activity in the museum is included with an annual pass or day ticket, children and under-18s go free. See you on Saturday!
