Forest How is a large Victorian Guest House set in a secluded position at the foot of Muncaster Fell overlooking the village of Eskdale Green in the unspoilt Western Lake District.
The house sits within five and a half acres of gardens and natural fellside and is the perfect spot to relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings. Enjoy watching red squirrels, numerous garden birds, roe deer and, if you’re lucky tawny and barn owls.
All rooms enjoy spectacular views across fields to the village of Eskdale Green and to the fells beyond.
For outdoor enthusiasts the area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Nearby are some of the highest peaks in the Lake District with Wasdale only a few miles away and the steep Hardnott pass leading to Langdale. We are dog-friendly too!
