The Sekers Stories exhibition brings together original artworks by Morgan Murray Arts and poet Emma McGordon, inspired by the stories of ex Sekers employees and their time working at Sekers.
These sit alongside images from the Sekers Archive held at The Beacon Museum, Whitehaven, and Sekers Fabrics in Dundee, of couture fashion design by Nina Ricci, Dior and Pierre Cardin and costumes designed for the musical My Fair Lady, all using fabric produced at Sekers.
We are delighted to launch our new publication Sekers: A History in Design, a catalogue of images of fashion, fabric, factory and showroom designs. This is a companion to Rosehill: A History in Design, produced in year one of the project, and both publications sit alongside our brand new Messel’s Makers Toy Theatre and Activity Books.
All of these are available to purchase from the box office and will also be available to buy online soon. Please email us or call 01946 692422 for details.
