Join children’s author Alex Mullarky and creative freelancer Jessica Meagher for a family-friendly and falcon-filled adventure at and around Glanoventa Roman Bath House, in Ravenglass! Witness a miraculous bird of prey display by the Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre. Enter the court of King Eveling, the king of the fairies rumoured to inhabit the ruins, in a live storytelling session.
This event is run in conjunction with our The World Beneath the Fells exhibition at Florence Arts Centre, Egremont (29 July – 4 Sept), and is part of the Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Festival celebrating the area’s Roman history!
Aimed at children aged 8-12 and their families – but all are welcome! Tickets are £5 per person and FREE for under 5s. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This event will take place outdoors – along country paths, at a historic ruin and possibly on a pebbly beach. Please bring sturdy footwear and a sense of adventure!
