These free sessions, ran by friendly Breeze Champions who have also trained as cycle coaches, are aimed at building women’s cycling confidence and teaching new skills in a safe, social and supportive environment.
These cycle skills are especially aimed at women new to cycling, or those who lack confidence in their cycling or wish to improve their skills. We will adapt the coaching sessions to meet the needs of participants. Each session will consist of approximately 30 minutes cycle skills and 30 minutes riding on the traffic free forest tracks.
Please bring a working bike, helmet and any drinks and snacks you might require during the session. Ensure you are suitably dressed for the weather – warm layers and waterproofs are essential, trainers or sturdy flat shoes.
These sessions are not appropriate for complete beginners – it is not aimed at teaching how to ride a bike, but to build skills.
