Crooked River Brewing Co emerged in 2022 as a producer of modern styles of craft beer. The business was created in response to the closure of Jennings, our town’s sole remaining brewery. Jennings had long symbolised our town’s historical brewing heritage and cultural identity and we didn’t want this region to lose it’s place in the county for producing great beer.
One year later and Crooked River beers can be found in pubs, bars, cafes and shops across the Lake District and Cumbria and most recently we received national acclaim when Brewdog; Europes largest brand of craft beer, shortlisted us for for their Up and Coming Festival amongst 15 other emerging breweries.
Since then we’ve expanded our business to sell across the country, we’ve supplied over 25 events and being engaged as possible with our community through our own events, charities, sponsorships and projects.
